HOME PARTY RECOGNITION:
Terry Bocklet
, Diamond Coach, had her very first Beachbody Home party on the 4th. I was able to be there live in attendance because I was traveling down to Long Island for a Tony Horton Super Saturday workout. Terry's party went extremely well. She had 16 people in attendance, 4 were new coaches. Terry retailed one Ten Minute Trainer, a Shakeology workout and I believe a Shakeolgy HD order. Terry also had a brand new Coach in attendance who brought two friends. This Coach told Terry she was only being a Coach for the discount and wasn't looking to make any money. Both of her guest after watching Introducing Team Beachbody video and tasting Shakeology decided to order Shakeology HD. Because Terry did her party, she helped a new Coach make some money and help two friends get started towards a better, more healthy life with Shakeology.

Annette Brown is a brand new Coach who has been drinking Shakeology for the last 6 months as a customer. I messaged Annette one day on Facebook and I told her I was tired of taking her $30 with each order and that it was time to become a Coach. Annette agreed and enrolled. We did her Getting Started Right and scheduled her launch party. Annette had two guests attend, her mother and her sister. After watching the Introducing Team Beachbody video Annette's sister decided that she wanted to get in the Shakeology business and joined her sister in this new Adventure.

Kisha Scott is another brand new Coach who has a passion for health, fitness and helping people. I helped Kisha do her home party via Skype and Kisha also had two guests attend. They watched the Introducing Team Beachbody video and had some Shakeology. Both guests are extremely interested in learning more about the Coach Opportunity and Shakeology. Kisha will follow up with her friends and if it's the right time will invite them to get started, if not kisha will continue to do her 2 exposures and continue to sow the seed.

Marc Martinez is a veteran Diamond Coach. He's been a customer of Beachbody's for ages, and a Coach on my team for almost two years. Like myself one year ago, Marc neve did a Home Party. With constent poking and prodding by me telling him "Marc, we are not talking until I get a date for your home party", we set the date and followed the system to lauch his party. Marc had 6 people in attendance, 3 were local Coaches who after the party were inspired to set a date to their parties. Marc also had three guests and one of the 3 made the decision to join Marc and his team of Active Caring Coaches.

The Impact You Can Have...

Everyone one makes changes in their lives. Some are positive and some are negative. The positive changes tend to have a lasting effect and attract more people who are looking to make the same change. In Summer of 2004, I bought a workout program called Power 90. It took me a year to commit to the program but once I did I lost 31lbs in 90 days. I lost weight and I kept it off. In early 2006 I used the not-as-popular-as-it-is-today P90X system and I got into the best shape of my life. I was also smoking at the time. These weight loss and physical changes inspired me to make one of the toughest changes of my life and on September 4, 2006 (my birthday) I quit smoking. I struggled with maintaining my weight at 185 and I yo-yoed to 205lbs. You can watch my story here.

Long story short, in March 2007 I signed up to be an Independent Team Beachbody Coach. Being a Team Beachbody Coach as allowed me to do great things so far. It helps me to commit to a healthier lifestyle, it affords me opportunities I normally wouldn't have such as going back to school for a new undergrad degree, and most importantly it helps me to inspire friends and family to take similar actions with their own health and fitness journey.

Two of my good friends from college saw my results and joined me in my Beachbody adventure. Brian Smith lost over 50lbs and David Spennacchio lost 40lbs and both are now running their Beachbody Business part time as they help others acheive their goals. My mom started on the Shakeology program this past January and lost 21lbs in 90s. She has more energy, is more positive and has kept the weight off for almost the entire year.

My most recent family and friend story comes from my cousin, Brandon Tufillaro. Brandon is a big guy. About 6'4" and weighed 350 lbs. He called me one day telling me he ordered INSANITY (another quality Beachbody program). I called him instantly so we could discuss his goals and most importantly connecting him to a program that I thought a man of his size could do. INSANITY is a great program but for someone with Brandon's size and bad knees, I knew it would be tough for him and the risk of injury was high. We spoke for about an hour and we both decided that P90X was a the better program for him to start with. See P90X, though extreme, offers a "sane" approach to fitness and health. Do what you can, modify when necessary, take breaks, and just "DO YOUR BEST and FORGET THE REST".

I first met Tony Horton in July of 2007 and have been very fortunate to hear the man speak live on numerous occassions. Fitness isn't about ego or competition. It's about doing the best you can with the body you currently have and if you are consistent and vary your exercises (the whole concept behind P90X), you'll improve asyou finish your 90 day program and create the body you've always wanted. A body that is more durable and less valunerable to injury. So many people who I coach, stop the program because they said they couldn't keep up. I wanted to shake them. P90X isn't about keeping up. If you could keep up with Tony and the kids on Day 1, you probably wouldn't need P90X. It's about doing your best and forgetting the rest. Bring it to the level that your body will let you and back off when necessary. Hit the pause button, take breaks, or longer breaks. It's ok to do that. This is what my cousin and I spoke about before starting P90X. We set goals and we also set expectations. He wass 350 lbs so I made sure he knew that it was OK for him to do Push Ups on his knees to start and as he lost weight, and the weight got less he could work up to standard push-ups. My cousin Brandon is a little past day 60 and has lost 50 lbs so far. I am so proud of him and I am truely excited to see what his future fitness journey brings him. Bring It Brandon!

How to Have Your Best Year Ever.

Jim Rohn's Biography

For more than 40 years, Jim Rohn honed his craft like a skilled artist-helping people the world over sculpt life strategies that have expanded their imagination of what is possible. Those who had the privilege of hearing him speak can attest to the elegance and common sense of his material. It is no coincidence, then, that he is widely regarded as one of the most influential thinkers of our time, and thought of by many as a national treasure. Jim authored countless books and audio and video programs, and helped motivate and shape an entire generation of personal-development trainers and hundreds of executives from America's top corporations.

Born to an Idaho farming family in the mid-1900s, Jim was ingrained with a work ethic that has served him well throughout his life. At 25, he met his mentor Earl Shoaff. And over the next six years he made his first fortune, yet didn't get into speaking until he moved to Beverly Hills, California, when a friend at the Rotary Club asked him to tell his success story, which Rohn titled "Idaho Farm Boy Makes It to Beverly Hills."

His speech went over so well that he received more invitations to share it, and better yet, they started paying him for it. In the beginning, he spoke in front of college and high-school classes and at service clubs, before moving on to seminars in 1963, which launched him into the personal-development business. From then on, Jim Rohn became a trailblazer in the self help and personal development industry, impacting the lives of millions through his life-changing material.

Jim Rohn focused on the fundamentals of human behavior that most affect personal and business performance. His is the standard to which those who seek to teach and inspire others are compared. He possessed the unique ability to bring extraordinary insights to ordinary principles and events, and the combination of his substance and style captures the imagination of those who hear or read his words.

Jim is known as one of the great wordsmiths of our time. Here is a sampling from Jim's Treasury of Quotes that reflect on his philosophy on life and business:

Skills: Don't wish it were easier; wish you were better. Don't wish for less problems; wish for more skills. Don't wish for less challenges; wish for more wisdom.

Growth: Don't join an easy crowd. You won't grow. Go where the expectations and the demands to perform and achieve are high.

Change: We generally change ourselves for one of two reasons: inspiration or desperation.

Activity: The few who do are the envy of the many who watch.

Success: Success is what you attract by the person you become.

What the hell

Three years ago I made a decision that changed the direction of my life. I said, "What the hell" and signed up as a Beachbody Coach. I had no direction, no purpose and no significance in my career and in my life.

I said "what the hell" and three years later my life is drastically better. Where could your life be one year, three years or five years from now if u say, "What the hell" and get involved today?

I am in this for the long haul and I know that this is just the beginning of one hell of an awesome ride. Come with me on this ride. Say "What the hell", sign up today and take your first step.

Don't Let Self Indulgence Weaken Your Life

Don't Let Self Indulgence Weaken Your Life: “How close can I get to the fire and not get burned?” I was unaware of what was happening; how my lifestyle was perpetually weakening me little by little. It was a gradual process. I had assumed I would always be strong. Nobody ever plans to be a failure. Strong people keep their commitments. They guard their commitments. They don't play games with their commitments. What are you committed to?
