This is my video documentation of my recovery journey with P90X. About 10 months ago I ruptured my pec major tendon and had it repaired. Since then my nutrition and fitness has been hit or miss. I'm ready to get back to 100% and P90X is going to get me there.
If you have time to READ and WATCH my blog, you have time to DO the P90X program.
Do your best, forget the rest and BRING IT!!

good luck joey. I came across your blog when I was googling around for more info on p90x.
You still have a pretty good body right now!
So your before and after, it took 5 years to get to where you were at in your after pic?
Hey Mike,
My before and after is from 2004 to 2009 but it did not take me five year to get there.
My journey with Beachbody programs started in 2004 with Power 90 When I weighed 225 lbs and I lost 31 lbs in 90 days. After that, P90X was released and I did that in 2005 and just kept going and got down to 184lbs. In Septemeber 2006 I quit smoking and yo-yoed back up to 205 lbs.
In 2007, the coach network and opportunity was created and I joined in March of 07 not fully understanding what the hell it all was. Still 205 lbs I went away to Tony Horton's Fitness camp in NY where I started to understand the opporunity. I came home and in August of 07 I started the 300 Challenge (a message board group on the BB boards), lost 11.5 lbs doing Turbo Jam Advanced Scheudle in August, than go ripped in the last 60 days of the challenge with P90X again. You can watch that transformation here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PubZgW8H26Q
Since that time I just kept going with my workouts and my fitness. Being a coach and turning my health and fitness into a financial opportuntity has helped me to stay focused and driven.
The only set back I've had is when I ruptured my Pec Major Tendon from my left arm. It was a pretty big set back not being able to workout like I used to. Good news is I didn't yo-yo like I did before. I moderated my calories with the help of shakeology and I was able to maintain my weight at 185 lbs.
I just started a new round yesterday. A hyrbrid of P90X and Insanity. Thanks for the great question and you bring up a great point. When I get around to it I'll blog and post all my different 90 day photos.
Later,
Joey
