Power 90 Success Story

I want to share a great Power 90 transformation story from a customer/coach of mine. I don't want to spoil anything so attached are his day 0 vs day 90 pics and below you'll find his story. I hope you'll find his story inspirational and motivating.

Jamie.....
"We all have stories and this is mine. Going to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack scared the hell out of me. I?m married and have two kids, I wasn?t ready to die. I wasn?t ready to buy size 40 pants. I was having trouble breathing all the time. My blood pressure was a little high and my cholesterol was jacked. I got tired of seeing people I haven?t seen in years and the first thing they said was "I got fat", or "dang you blew up."

I started to run and lift weights I was 247 pounds. It took me a year to get to 220lbs. I hated running on a treadmill or running in general, I just don?t like to run. So my workouts declined and I continued to eat pizza and hoagies you know the "good" stuff. My health wasn?t getting any better and I knew I had to do something, so like many, the P90X commercial came on and I thought to myself one day I?ll order that.

I started poking around the internet came across Joey's myspace page and started talking with him. We felt it would be best that I start with Power 90 and that?s where I?m at today with 9 days left. I want to be that guy to encourage others they can do it, they don?t have to wait until they stop eating junk food or lose a pound, today is the day they can do it today. I want to be the a product of the product? I believe beachbody has changed my life.

P.S. I got my blood work back from the DR, since doing P90 my triglycerides went from 262 to 87!"

You can leave comments for Jamie below. Great job Jamie

Service to the many....

I got this email from a friend of mine whom I coach, today on Facebook and I wanted to share my response. My friend/Beachbody Customer wrote:

"I'm just making excuses... Every night I go to bed saying "ok, tomorrow I'm gonna work out." Then tomorrow comes and I blow it off again. Blah!

How did you get through your body transformation without giving up?"

I replied:

My purpose was strong. I had a strong purpose during Power 90 (to lose 30 lbs), during P90X it was to get long, strong, lean muscles and then after that I stopped because I finished my 90 days. I had no purpose after I completed the program so I started to Yo-Yo. It wasn't until I committed to coaching (thanks to Traci Morrow and Tony Horton's NY Fitness Camp) and the discovery of my WHY (quit my job, go back to school for Phys Ed, and financial freedom) that drives me to workout. I have personally sponsored 24 other coaches and I have 900+ customers. That's my motivation to keep working out and pushing play. I help them stay committed by showing them it's possible. I help them, I get financially rewarded money, and I begin to achieve my WHY.
"Greatness is achieved by serving the many." - Jim Rohn, the bible, JFK
The more people you can help, your potential to being great increases. My own fitness is my vehicle to achieving that. It can be yours too. Serve the many...

Decide. Commit. Succeed.

When life gets crazy, you need a REALITY CHECK.

So life is getting crazy for me. I'm currently going back to school for a second undergrad degree in Phys Ed and the end of the semester is quickly approaching. I also am the assistant varsity lacrosse coach at a local high school. So needless to say I have about 2 hours of practice/games each day, along with classes and tons on school work. Sadly my workouts have taken a back seat these past 4 days. I'm annoyed that I haven't been as committed in the past but that's life. I can either beat myself up for my choices or reevaluate my current situation and make changes needed to progress or maintain my current level of fitness.

Here's my dilemma, I committed to a workout group which I created called Mark Briggs and Joey Petri go 1-on-1. It's a workout rotation that I created based off of Tony Horton's new workout 1-on-1 along with P90X and P90X+. The reality is I just don't have the time to do the hour plus workouts everyday. M, W, and F I can but the rest of the week, even on the weekends I just don't have the time. So I'm going back to basics. I'm going to be revamping my routine to incorporate Ten Minute Trainer and the classic Power Half Hour.

The biggest thing I learned from my experience with Beachbody and getting to know Tony over the years is know your reality. In fact it's one of Tony Horton's 11 Laws and you can view all 11 here.

Well, that's my check-in. I'd love to here from you and learn how you are doing. We all face challenges, we all fall off the wagon, it's how we pick ourselves up and move forward that matters.
Remember together...we're better. You're not alone.

INSANITY

If you ever wanted to get in peak physical condition, this is the program for you. It is not a program for everyone and it is not for beginners. This program has yet to be released so there is plenty of time to start creating that foundation you will need to get the body and the condition that you have always wanted. Recommendations for building that foundation are P90X or ChaLEAN Extreme. You can order your copy at www.JoeyPetri.com. Any questions let me know and join the Beachbody Fitness Revolution.

Insanity is the most intense and thorough cardio-intensive program ever set to DVD. We expect it to launch in summer 2009 with a base Configuration of 10 workouts, including:

1. Dig Deeper/Fit Test

2. Plyometric Cardio Circuit

3. Cardio Power & Resistance

4. Cardio Recovery/Max Recovery

5. Pure Cardio/Cardio Abs

6. Cardio Abs

7. Core Cardio & Balance

8. Max Interval Circuit

9. Max Interval Plyo

10. Max Cardio Conditioning/Cardio Abs

Plus it will include the Insanity Fitness guide (which will be brief... we want you moving, not reading!), the Elite Nutrition guide and Wall calendar.
