When life gets crazy, you need a REALITY CHECK.
So life is getting crazy for me. I'm currently going back to school for a second undergrad degree in Phys Ed and the end of the semester is quickly approaching. I also am the assistant varsity lacrosse coach at a local high school. So needless to say I have about 2 hours of practice/games each day, along with classes and tons on school work. Sadly my workouts have taken a back seat these past 4 days. I'm annoyed that I haven't been as committed in the past but that's life. I can either beat myself up for my choices or reevaluate my current situation and make changes needed to progress or maintain my current level of fitness.
Here's my dilemma, I committed to a workout group which I created called Mark Briggs and Joey Petri go 1-on-1. It's a workout rotation that I created based off of Tony Horton's new workout 1-on-1 along with P90X and P90X+. The reality is I just don't have the time to do the hour plus workouts everyday. M, W, and F I can but the rest of the week, even on the weekends I just don't have the time. So I'm going back to basics. I'm going to be revamping my routine to incorporate Ten Minute Trainer and the classic Power Half Hour.
The biggest thing I learned from my experience with Beachbody and getting to know Tony over the years is know your reality. In fact it's one of Tony Horton's 11 Laws and you can view all 11 here.
Well, that's my check-in. I'd love to here from you and learn how you are doing. We all face challenges, we all fall off the wagon, it's how we pick ourselves up and move forward that matters.
Remember together...we're better. You're not alone.
